Cannibals

I'd never trek into the jungle
It'd scare me out of my wits
There are poisonous snakes and spiders
And dangerous, entrapping pits

Where primitive people called cannibals
Lurk in the shadowy depths
Waiting for such a poor soul as me
To fall into their evil net

Once I was caught good and proper
They'd cook me up for tea
Those primitive, uncivilised natives
I don't want that kind of destiny

In our civilised world I feel quite safe
I can't get caught in someone's net
Except if you count that of the tobacco barons
The ones who peddle those evil cigarettes
